Axminster seals exclusive deal with Lamello

Axminster Tools & Machinery has just completed a deal which will give the company exclusive rights to sell Lamello products throughout the UK. This new arrangement will come into effect from 1^st October 2014 when the Axminster Business Services Team takes over all Lamello-related matters.

The newly formed Axminster Business Services Team, under Sales Manager Mark O’Halloran, will be the main point of contact for all Lamello products, with representatives visiting customers and potential customers at their own premises.  All field sales members of the team have undergone training at Lamello’s factory in Bubendorf as well as hands-on training within the UK.

AT&M’s Sales Director, Alan Styles, said: “We are delighted that our new Axminster Business Services Team are able to work with one of the industry’s best known and most innovative names, that of Lamello. Come and meet the team, and see us in action together with Lamello at W14.” Both companies will be exhibiting at W14 Working with Wood exhibition at the NEC from 5-8 October, stand number 8G720.

Swiss company Lamello, first established in 1955 by Hermann Steiner, has grown from biscuit jointing to become the world’s leading manufacturer of knockdown fittings.
