Craft Festival Bovey Tracey & Cheltenham & Nourish Festival postponed until 2021...

Further to Government guidelines for following social distancing now and in the future, the event organisers have decided that the safety of their audience, in the towns of Bovey Tracey and Cheltenham and all the exhibitors, is paramount. With this in mind, they have postponed Craft Festival Bovey Tracey & Cheltenham and Nourish Festival until next year.

The new dates are Craft Festival Bovey Tracey will be 11-13 June 2021, Craft Festival Cheltenham, 12-14 March 2021, and Nourish Festival, Bovey Tracey, 28 August 2021.

But there is some good news.

Craft Festival Director, Sarah James said: “Thanks to the support of Arts Council of England, we are able to host a Digital Craft Festival over the weekend of 26-28 June, 2020. In an attempt to salvage some positivity from the crisis and to support the hundreds of small businesses, we are hosting a three day event, online. Look up digital.craftfestival.co.uk for full details. We exist to support contemporary makers of craft and we hope our loyal visitors will join us for a weekend of talks with makers, demonstrations, workshops, films, music and even Yoga. Zoom will be very busy that weekend!”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters and partners of all our Festivals. Thank you to Arts Council England, The Devon Guild of Craftsmen, The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen, New Brewery Arts, madebyhandonline.com, Cheltenham Town Hall, Plymouth College of Art, Bovey Tracey Town Council, Devon Life Magazine, Period Living Magazine, Unit Twelve Gallery, The Byre Gallery, Midgely Green, South Dartmoor Community College, Stover School, Pretzel Studio, Yurts for Life, Wignalls, Devon Weavers Workshops, Pom Stitch Tassel, Devon Contract Waste, Western Event Hire, Papillon Gin, Fever Tree, Jolly Roger Lifesize Models and Common Sense Studio.

As a small, non-profit making organisation, we’re also very mindful of our amazing Makers, all of whom are small businesses and have prepared stock for Craft Festival Bovey Tracey.  We hope you join us over the weekend of 26-28 June and Meet and Buy from the Makers on digital.craftfestival.co.uk.

The Craft Festival Team would like to thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and we look forward to sharing further details about the Digital Festival soon.
