Building on the popularity and success of the K8 and K10 Clubman chucks, Axminster decided to improve the design by producing stainless steel versions. Both the SK80 and SK100 are manufactured from a one-piece stainless steel body using the latest CNC production techniques at Axminster’s engineering manufacturing facility. The use of this material allows closer tolerances during the manufacturing process as the chuck body no longer needs electro-plating which can vary in thickness.

Clubman chucks have the added feature of a narrow body front to back, enabling larger pieces to be undertaken. This newly designed body, produced from a single billet of stainless steel, gives maximum concentricity and minimises vibration during use.

The SK80 is available in two thread options and the SK100 has a range of four thread options. All are supplied with a chuck key and feature the SafetyJaw accessory mounting jaws which have rounded corners. The SK80 retails at £79.96 inc vat and the SK100 starts at £82.96 inc vat (£84.95 for T23)*.
