New to the BESSEY clamping tool range: Horizontal fixture clamp WNS‑SET‑MFT

The WNS-SET-MFT includes two fixture clamps, two bench hooks and four fastening screws

Clamping tools are indispensable when working on multifunction tables. The BESSEY range also includes specialists such as toggle clamp sets, lightweight clamping elements with lever handle and all-steel table clamps. Another helpful addition added to the range is the innovative horizontal fixture clamp WNS-SET-MFT.

Horizontal fixture clamps are attached on the side of the workpiece. The advantage of this is that tool parts don’t interfere by leaning into the work area. Furthermore, the clamping lever’s position on the side of the clamp provides even more freedom and the workpiece can be applied instantly.

A special feature on BESSEY's new model is its patent-pending pull-down mechanism, which guarantees that the workpiece doesn’t lift up when it's clamped and lays flat on the table surface. This is difficult to achieve with conventional systems, but when using the new WNS-SET-MFT, the workpiece sits more firmly on the table compared to standard systems, lies perfectly flat and can therefore be precisely machined.

BESSEY’s innovative fixture clamp can also fasten the workpiece flat in place with a clamping force of up to 750N without the use of a fastening screw, which would usually be required. It only needs to be used if the holes provided for positioning are worn and the clamp in question has clearance.

The WNS-SET-MFT fits all standard multifunction tables 19mm thick or more and with a 20mm hole diameter, such as the Festool MFT or Sortimo WorkMo. It also clamps reliably on systainers with wood inserts and 20mm punch holes. The bench dogs included with the system can also be used as a universal limit stops for workpieces. These are also available separately as a set of four – search for product code BH-MFT.
