The AR500 Portable Edgebander is Le-matic's flagship edgebander model. Built to suit the needs of both professionals and hobbyists, the AR500 is perfect for on-site work or integration into your woodworking workshop.

The AR500 Portable Edgebander combines the features of a stationary edgebanding station – hot melt glue application, speed feeding and temperature control – with the convenience of a handheld tool. This edgebander is the lightest and easiest to use of any of the portable edgebanders.

This machine is perfect for all varieties and shapes of workpieces from curved and contoured to straight lines. Glue is applied directly onto the edge band or edging tape, no edge band iron or hot air being required. The edgebander works with PVC, laminate, melamine, wood and metal edgebands and edging tape.

The complete kit has everything that the small or medium sized furniture producer would require for many jobs. It includes a power trimmer, dual end cutter, vacuum clamp set and glue pack. All items are contained in a clip-together, moulded set of storage cases mounted on a trolley.
