SIP, the specialist manufacturer of professional welding and compressor equipment have just launched a new Spindle Moulder into the professional and serious amateur woodworking market.

The Spindle Moulder complements the existing range of professional bandsaws and table saws and continues their long term plan to develop a comprehensive range of ‘heavy duty’ machines suitable for the growing ‘cross-over’ market of those amateur users demanding professional quality equipment.

Allan Woodings, Senior Manager responsible for Woodworking says “I’ve been a professional woodworker myself for over 30 years and I saw a gap in the market for top quality, well designed machines that are right for the serious amateur woodworker. The range is aimed at professionals but is priced for those whose priority is quality, hands-on woodwork whether or not they are used for short or long run tasks”.

The Spindle Moulder has a host of features including – 10º to + 30º tilt and is launched at an introductory price of £849.00 (ex VAT). The optional Sliding Carriage is £209.90 (ex VAT).

The range has been designed by SIP and Allan Woodings and is under a strict quality control regime implemented by SIP staff. All SIP woodworking products carry a full 2 year warranty.

This range of professional woodworking machines is a major investment for SIP and it is their intention to further develop this important, and perhaps previously neglected, market segment.
