New sizes of Tungsten Carbide Tipped router cutters specifically designed for use by the tradesman have been launched by Trend.

Each cutter features 2mm micrograin carbide tips suitable for cutting abrasive materials, hardwood & softwood, fibreboard, plywood and particleboard. The cutter features an extra long shank and the cutter body is coated in PTFE to minimise resin build up, indicated by a distinctive black coating.

Two new sizes of Kitchen Fitters packs have been added to the range. Both have 1/2” shank diameters and contain five 1/2” x 2” two-flute straight cutters for worktop cutting. One set has tungsten carbide centre tips for easier plunge routing.

Two bearing guided intumescent recesser cutters are included for recessing 4mm thick intumescent strip, either 10m or 15mm wide.

There are now 40 Trade cutters to choose from in a variety of different profiles from straights to bearing guided types. For extra protection each cutter is either supplied in a re-usable clear tube or clamshell.
