At the beginning of November, we look forward to welcoming you to the new home of The Woodworker & Good Woodworking – thewoodworkermag.com

We have some exciting news to share with readers of the magazine – old and new – as well as members of our current website and forum – www.getwoodworking.com – which has served us well for many years now

We're extremely proud of our magazine, and with that, our loyal readership. While the publication has changed and evolved recently, we're also keen to do the same with the website, bringing along the wonderful woodworking community we've been able to foster, as well as the forum and entire archive of articles

The new website will go live at the beginning of November and to give you an idea of what it will look like, including the new forum, see Model Flying – one of the other titles in our portfolio: www.modelflying.co.uk and www.modelflying.co.uk/forums

We'll also have a new URL – www.thewoodworkermag.com – although visiting www.getwoodworking.com will automatically redirect you to the new site after 29th October

EXTENSIVE ARCHIVE

As mentioned above, the entire archive of content on www.getwoodworking.com will be migrated over to the new site and you can enjoy weekly uploads of features, projects, technical articles, plus the usual news as well as regular competitions

NEW FORUM

The good news is that you'll still be able to interact with fellow woodworkers on the new forum, which while slightly different in appearance, is designed to be intuitive. If you do have any queries or problems with using it, however, we'll answer these for you and ensure you're up and running straight away. You'll be able to keep your current username, ask questions of other members, share your work, interact, and also enjoy lively discussion, all on a new bigger and better platform.
