Oneida release new dust collectors

The V-System 2000 has a 2 hp U.S made Baldor Motor and provides 990CFM (1682m3/hr)@ 2.5” of static pressure. The V-System 3000 has a 3 hp U.S made Baldor Motor and provides 1,285 CFM (2183m3/hr) @ 3” of static pressure.

Oneida Air Systems has redesigned the cyclone for the V-System line. The streamlined cyclone body combines the standard barrel and cone into one piece. The new cyclone design results in extremely fine micron dust separation in the cyclone. The extreme separation makes the system ideal for fine sanding dust as well as chips.

Recent tests carried out on a wide belt sander showed a 98.9% separation of fine dust. Oneida’s filtration is down to 0.2 microns at 99.9%. In woodworking dust terms this equates to 100% filtration.

The high efficiency filter material requires minimal maintenance. The cyclone and fan housing have a one bolt connection. The systems can be supplied with either a wall bracket or tri-pod legs. The V-Systems can be set up in under an hour.

Both dust collectors are extremely quiet. The V-System 2000 is 73 dBA and the 3000 (3hp) is 75 dBA @ 3 meters with the included internal silencer. The 2hp sells for £1067+vat and the 3hp costs £1158.99+vat.
