The Peanut 2 Mini Jig from Intelligent Fixings, available from Axminster Tools, is an innovative solution to cabinetmaking. An affordable alternative to other jointing systems on the market, this package will help you become more efficient at work, saving you time and money.

The Peanut Mini Jig is a fast and simple solution for woodworkers who wish to take advantage of the Peanut 2 Connector System. Peanut connectors are a low cost, high strength, invisible, self-clamping dowel connector, which pull the material together from the inside. The Peanut Connecting System is incredibly simple to use, producing very strong joints in sheet materials with no visible holes, fixings or the need for cover caps. The Peanut Mini Jig offers a more mobile solution for work on site, as well as a lower cost option for an occasional user or a home workshop.

The Peanut Mini Jig’s compact size and ease of use makes it perfect for projects of all sizes, and making joints using this system can be learnt in minutes. It comes with an illustrated setup guide and instructional videos can be found on the Intelligent Fixings' YouTube channel. The Mini Jig is made from high pressure laminate, consisting of a body, fence and stainless steel gravity stopping studs. The fence is attached with two M6 bolts and can be fitted in the following three positions:

1. 90° joints for 16-25mm thickness panels.
2. 90° joints for 25-40mm thickness panels.
3. 45° joints for 18-30mm thickness panels.

Create secure, strong joints, which can be taken apart and reassembled many times without loss of joint strength – ideal for flat-packing for transportation. 

3.5mm gauge screws are required with the length of screw, depending on material thickness.
