Run by woodworkers for woodworkers: 25 years of woodworking passion

The Wood Workers Workshop showroom is packed with innovative and sought-after products from a host of top brands

Wood Workers Workshop is a family-run business based in Worcestershire, England. The company is owned by Peter Sefton, who has over 40 years’ woodworking experience, and has employed other like-minded woodworkers to assist customers, ensuring they get the most suitable products for their needs.

Core values

Established in 1999, Peter and Sarah Sefton took over Wood Workers Workshop in 2012, to share Peter’s passion and knowledge of woodworking tools. “At the heart of the business is the core value of wanting to sell quality products that are a pleasure to use and a lasting investment for our customers,” Peter explains.

Peter Sefton – master craftsman, furniture maker and owner of Wood Workers Workshop

Peter previously devoted over 20 years of his career to teaching and mentoring craftspeople, running his own furniture making school. This dedication to the craft and educating others was rewarded when he became one of only 300 Liveryman of The Furniture Makers’ Company in 2014, noted for his pursuit of excellence and sharing knowledge with aspiring makers. The furniture school ran for 14 years before Peter decided to devote all his time to Wood Workers Workshop.

AUKTools & Verum

Alongside supplying the very best tools from European and North American tool makers, Wood Workers Workshop also develops new tools under its own brands: AUK Tools and Verum. The AUK Tools round-bodied router has enabled the UK market to use the very best North American router lifts from JessEm and INCRA. Verum is a collection of Peter’s favourite hand tools including their own hand planes to be released later this year, made to Peter’s specification.
