The San Diego County Fair – taking place from 8 June–4 July 2022 – in association with the Fine Woodworkers, is now calling for entries to the 39th Annual Design in Wood competition.

More than $20,000 in prizes will be awarded, including a $1,000 prize for Best of Show. The deadline for submitting entries is April 29 2022. 

The Design in Wood competition features 26 entry categories that range from Contemporary Furniture to Contemporary Accessories to Scroll Saw Fretwork to Wood Carving, plus many more. For a complete list of entry categories visit www.sdfwa.org.

Established in 1982, the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association (SDFWA) is a non-profit organisation, which aims to unite people who share a common interest and enthusiasm for working with wood.
