Together TV launches a new free DIY Challenge in collaboration with the UK Men’s Sheds Association

Together TV is back on Freeview, with over 20m households once again having access to the channel’s warming blend of feel-good and motivating programming.

One of the new programmes to be launched is a brand-new ‘DIY Challenge’, which aims to bring people – especially socially-isolated older men – together over the next two months.

Together TV's DIY Challenge is in collaboration with the UK Men’s Sheds Association, and aims to encourage male – and female – participants to 'channel your inner maker' and take care of their mental health.

The DIY Challenge how-to videos, presented by host Dave Wellman, were filmed in one of the UK’s first Men’s Sheds in Camden Town.

Mike Jenn, Life President of UK Men's Sheds' Association, features in the videos and discusses the positive impact the sheds have on men’s health and wellbeing.

The DIY Challenge is now open to registrants, with participants receiving weekly emails detailing how to construct three projects of various difficulty with the aid of how-to video tutorials. These DIY projects will make great Christmas presents on a shoestring budget.

Together TV broadcasts on Freeview channel 83 (+1 channel on 92), Sky 170, Virgin 269, Freesat 164 and on its BRAND NEW FREE streaming service via app stores on Apple and Android devices and the TV app stores of Apple TV, Android TV and LG TV.
