Vic Tesolin from Veritas is back to demo in UK...

Vic Tesolin from the Ottawa-based tool company Veritas will be demonstrating at Axminster’s Sittingbourne store and the North of England Woodworking and Power Tool Show at Harrogate this November.

Canadian woodworker Vic has taken a more unusual path into woodworking than many of his peers. Having spent 14 years in the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, he made the decision to study furniture design and making at Rosewood Studio. There he learned from some of the industry’s best, including Garrett Hack, Adrian Ferrazzutti and Michael Fortune. After graduating, he ran his own studio furniture business while working at Rosewood as a part-time instructor and craftsman in residence before becoming editor at Canadian Woodworking magazine.

Vic now has what might be seen as one of the best jobs in woodworking and it is a role which allows his charismatic personality to shine through. By day, Vic is the Woodworking Technical Advisor at Lee Valley & Veritas Tools and by night he teaches privately and for Lee Valley’s seminar programme. He also continues to design and build furniture in his home.

If you are keen to see Vic in action and would like to catch one of his demonstrations, he will be at the following events:
Friday 17-Sunday 19 November – North of England Woodworking & Power Tool Show, Harrogate HG2 8QZ (Fri-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10am-4pm)
