The Woodworker inc Good Woodworking – January 2022
With another 12 editions of the magazine completed, this brings us back round to our January issue, and the first of 2022.
As well as a host of projects, technical articles, features and tests for you to enjoy, we're also pleased to announce the launch of The Alan Peters Furniture Award 2022.
So without further ado, let's take a closer look at what our January 2022 issue in store...

SKELETON CLOCK WITH FINIALS
Also this month’s cover star, Les Thorne uses ash and ebony to create a wonderful timepiece, which is then finished using ebonising lacquer and gilt cream to create a stunning contrasting effect

GLUE & JOINT SECRETS

LAP DOVETAIL JOINTS
The most familiar type of dovetail joint is the lapped dovetail. It’s used when you want to hide the joint on one side but make it visible on the other
