Kicking off our projects this month is Andrew Hall and his dapper Dickie bow tie - one of his favourite and signature pieces; next, Martin Saban-Smith’s triptych turning allowed him to learn some valuable lessons while having a lot of fun along the way; in part 1 of his Baroque guitar build, Shaun Newman takes us through the first steps for recreating one of these stunning instruments; finding some brass port hole surrounds at a local antique shop prompts Glenn Perry to get nautical and create a novel mirror design; Phil Davy starts the arduous task of replacing a set of household stairs; before Les Thorne reflects on the areas of turning that he enjoys the most, including tools, techniques and teaching others.
