The projects section takes on a wide and varied feel this month with something for everyone. Duncan Rose is building a maple dresser while for the musicians amongst us Shaun Newman gives us the low-down on how to build a Spanish guitar. Keith Smith is still up to his armpits in GRP (fibreglass to you and me)  finishing off his cyclone and showing just how efficient it really is. If you are looking for that out of the ordinary project look no further than Mark Cass attaché case made from cabinet grade plywood!

Our Hand v Machine feature this month in Workshop is dry sharpening. We look at getting an edge without oil or water. In hand we are looking at the abrasive paper and glass method; what has become known as the Scary Sharp system. On the Machine side we put the Worksharp 3000 through its paces. I took both methods to IWEX 09 at Ally Pally this year and spent the three days demonstrating them. Judging by the response I had at the show this feature should be well read! Ron Fox is up to his eyeballs in routers again this month; this time on the trail of the fine adjuster. 

For the turners Alan Holtham is continuing with his turning workshop installing kit and looking at the dust control by installing extraction and air cleaning. Inspired by circumstances, I give you a very brief peek at my turning shed that is slowly being invaded, while Chris Child is kicking off his new turning course - of which I will be paying close attention.
