IronmongeryDirect and ElectricalDirect are relaunching their Basildon trade counter to provide customers with an enhanced and more streamlined service. To celebrate, the business will be hosting a week’s worth of events and activity running from Monday 3rd - Sunday 9th February 2020.

The relaunch comes after taking customer feedback on board to provide a more efficient and improved customer experience for trade customers.

The new-look trade counter will see an expanded team of knowledgeable and experienced staff, allowing customers to pick up orders quickly. Visitors will also be able to find products for their jobs and projects quicker by using a newly installed touchscreen, as well as being able to see more products on offer via improved shop displays.

Tradespeople visiting during launch week will be able to enjoy exclusive offers and activity at the counter starting on the launch day, 3rd February 2020. Visitors on the Monday will be treated to a free breakfast butty, with goodie bags being given away to customers all week.

“Customers are the heart of our business, so it was really important for us to take their feedback onboard and adjust how we do things to best suit what they need,” says Marco Verdonkschot, Managing Director.

“We want to celebrate the launch with our valued customers, so we’re hosting a week’s worth of celebrations! This includes counter discounts, goodie giveaways, a prize draw to win a 50” 4K Smart TV – and of course, free doughnuts! There will also be a discount code shared across our social media which will give customers 10% off orders over £45.

The relaunch will be taking place at Unit 3 Scimitar Park, Courtauld Rd, Basildon SS13 1ND.
