Makita's latest circular saw

MAKITA’S LATEST 190MM CIRCULAR SAW HAS 1200 WATT MOTOR

·         New compact and lightweight design

·         Aluminium base-plate and die-cast guard

·         66mm maximum depth of cut

Makita’s new HS7601J, mains powered, 190mm circular saw offers a new compact design which reduces the overall size of the machine compared to its predecessor and the use of aluminium for the base plate and in the die-cast blade guard has reduced the weight to just 4kg.

Powered by a 1200w motor, and available in 110v and 240v, the new Makita HS7601J will run up to 5,200rpm and has a maximum depth of cut of 66mm at 90° and 46mm at 45°. The compact design of motor housing includes a flat base which increases stability when the blade is being changed. The soft grip handle with trigger controls has the forward grip knob moulded as one for enhanced control and balance.

Cutting depth is quickly adjusted with a single locking lever and the rear angular guide gives smooth and precise adjustments of the bevel angle. A rear facing exhaust port can be connected direct to a dust extraction unit and does not impede the view of the material to be cut. The aluminium base plate is fully compatible with the Makita Guide Rail Set 197005-0. With low noise and vibration ratings the new HS7601J circular saw will become a tradesman’s choice. It is delivered in a sturdy Type 4 MAKPAC case.

Makita’s expanded guide rail accessory range now offers adapters to fit most of the circular saws, jigsaws and routers in the Makita range of more than 550 innovative and high performance power tools.
