Mary Rose Trust shortlisted for Award

A message from Sue Collins of the Mary Rose Trust:

We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for another National Lottery Good Causes Award in the Best Heritage category – and we need your vote!

Every year the National Lottery offer thousands of projects the opportunity to tell their story through the National Lottery Awards. Including the Heritage category, Voluntary, Sport, Health, Environment, Education and the Arts are represented for projects that change lives through National Lottery funding. The awards, which have been running for 11 years, aim to recognize and celebrate the talent, hard work, and amazing dedication of the people who devote themselves to the projects.

So how do you vote?

Simply follow this link - http://www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/project/mary-rose-museum-0 - press vote, enter your email address and confirm your vote. If this proves difficult, go towww.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards; select “Heritage” as the award category, then the Mary Rose Museum. Enter your email and confirm your vote.

Votes can be cast until midnight on 23 July.

The winners will be decided by the public, voting for their favourite project in each category. The winners will be announced at a star studded BBC One Show in September.

Please support us – it’s a public vote and it would be great to count on you. And please ask family, friends and colleagues to do the same.

With grateful thanks
 Sue Collins
