MASCOT launches sustainable T-shirts, sweatshirts and polo shirts

With these new tops, MASCOT is launching a sustainable alternative to the conventional cotton or polyester tops. The workwear brand is launching a total of 10 tops: T-shirts, polo shirts and sweatshirts for men and women in two material compositions. The tops are available in six different colours and are easily recognised with their Sustainable logo label.

Choose clothing that is better for people and the environment

Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides or other toxic substances. This is better for both the soil and the farmers who grow the cotton. The recycled polyester is made from plastic bottles and other recycled plastic products, which are collected, washed, broken down to granulate and spun into new polyester yarn. This means plastic waste is recycled into a new resource in MASCOT's latest launch. The sustainable tops are also packaged in product bags made from 100% recycled plastic. In this way a used resource is recycled instead of new ones being produced. See how the process works in the company's video

MASCOT takes responsibility for people and the environment

The launch of the new sustainable products is a natural part of MASCOT's efforts to continually ensure greater sustainability in production and in the entire food chain for MASCOT's workwear production. MASCOT works with all the principles in the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with a special focus on the 12th goal concerning responsible consumption and production.
The UN's Sustainable Development Goals are common reference points for companies and organisations. The global society has a joint responsibility to turn global needs into business solutions that can help create a sustainable future for the generations to come.
