Routing the scribe cut on the end of rails has always been a difficult operation, as a user made jig was required, so that the rail was held securely and at 90° to the cutter. Now Trend has launched a new Pushblock for scribing rails on a router table securely and safely.

Made from a heavy-duty plastic composition material to ensure a flat base, the Pushblock safely holds rails up to 30mm thick and 100mm wide, for the scribing cut when making frame and panel doors.

The Pushblock has a sliding front stop with grip abrasive and an adjustable height toggle clamp to ensure material is held securely. There is also a spelch block fitting to prevent breakout and the facility to exchange handles to allow use with an overhead router for end cuts.
