ON TEST

Good Woodworking tool test guru Andy King gives his first impressions:

"The driver is capable of driving screws up to 5mm diameter and, indeed, I could get screws of this diameter to drive directly into pine, although these were only 40mm long and the driver does struggle once they start to bite. There is a built-in spindle lock though, so you can use it as a hand driver to tweak any screw that doesn't quite make it home. Narrower gauges are more successful, driving home pretty easily, although at 250rpm, not the speediest of drivers."
