Why we make things and why it matters

In his new book Peter Korn explores the nature and practice of creative work. He argues that the challenge of bringing something new into the world, whether in the arts, in the kitchen, or craft, is what generates the fulfilment and meaning in life for which many of us yearn.  He sets out to explain what the act of creation tells us about ourselves and how creative work informs society.

Peter will be speaking at the following events to discuss the nature and rewards of creative work, and how art, craft and design inform our shared search for a better way to live.
