Woodworking and joinery firms across the country are being reminded to get their entries in this week for the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) annual awards, before the last chance deadline of Friday (18 July).
This year sees the 19th annual Bentley Woodfair, and with over 150 demonstrators and exhibitors this is an event not to be missed. There will be a packed programme of have-a-go activities, live demonstrations of woodworking skills, craft displays, children’s activities, and chainsaw sculpting, as well as a wide range of trade stalls selling everything from tools and equipment to bespoke furniture.

Anthony Glynn has just headed home to Bath from the Chippendale International School of Furniture near Edinburgh. He was highly commended for his work at one of Europe’s premier furniture design and restoration schools, and now plans to start up his own bespoke furniture business.
